cedar mesa, utah part two

we thought the slot canyon was going to be dry.  then we remembered it's january.

next on our itinerary was exploring, which was pretty much on the itinerary every day but whatever.
one of the people in the group, cody, is a master at finding locations with no trail to lead the way.
we only had mile marker coordinates for this particular indian ruin.  when we came to the mile marker, we pulled over and cody led the rest of the way.
this was my first "intact" indian ruin i had ever seen.  it was incredible.
to think, life happened long long ago there.  my mind was blown.  experiencing history is priceless.

pieces of POTTERY!  but really, mind blowing.
don't i look right at home?
i think my hispanic blood has some native american blood mixed in there too.
