six years
because being married for 6 years to your best friend is pretty special so it called for an impromptu trip to moab, just the two of us (& the pooches of course)!

^^couldn't pass up this cute little cafe called love muffin. they make very fabulous sandwiches.

^^a pretty awesome geological feature. a crack in the rock has allowed water to seep in, until reaching a harder layer in rock. where it met the harder rock, it eroded a tunnel from one side of the cliff to the other. pretty fascinating.

^^and now to the main event...off-roading in the taco (aka our toyota tacoma)!

^^moab wind caves

^^off the grid living...i'd be lying if i said this life wasn't a bit tempting to us. i mean, we want to live in a van after-all.

^^briggs, always a dare-devil.

^^petroglyphs

^^and an ice cream stop before heading home. i love this guy more and more every second of every day.

valentine's day
^^i left love notes for gordon to find throughout his day^^
^^he knows the way to my heart is good food, so he cooked me one of my favorites and one of his specialties: pad thai. he even kicked it up a notch and made fresh spring rolls with fancy sauces as an appetizer. i love him^^
^^one of our favorite things to do is camp. so, in our basement, i set up our camping mattresses, laid out our sleeping bags, and set up a little s'more station for dessert^^
^^he wouldn't share. (he kept saying "i wish you didn't just eat your kibble...")^^
^^flannels on and lots of laughing. did i mention that i love him? like a. lot.^^
another fun valentine's day spent the person i love the most.
everyday is valentine's day, right honey? (bahahaha!)

the little things
seeing my dad driving by my work on his bike…waving and I waved back.
the crossing guard I pass by every morning on my way to work that waves at everyone…no matter the weather.
saying sorry and getting a kiss from my husband.
sending a text message to the wrong person about something silly…but it ended well and now everything is out in the open.
being invited to celebrate gordon’s grandparents anniversary by going to the temple with his grandma.
buying a new cd to discover that they sing that song.
